New ASP One World Ratings Explained
With two events done and dusted on the 2010 ASP World Tour, the dynamic transitions instituted this season are starting to take shape. Moore Wins New Zealand!
Hawaiian prodigy Carissa Moore, 17, took out her first win as an official member of the ASP Women’s World Tour with a massive victory over Aussie sophomore Sally Fitzgibbons, 19,  to clinch her second ASP Dream Tour victory and first as an official member of the Top 17. After a relatively slow start to the season, Moore’s big win launches her to No. 6 on the ratings and with several events left in the season, back into the hunt for this year’s ASP Women’s World Title.

U.S. Open Goes PRIME!
Last year, the ASP 6-Star Hurley U.S. Open made history by paying out the richest prize purse in professional surfing history and now one of our sports longest running events is pushing forward again by improving the prestigious event to PRIME status. The upgrade in points will attract a flock of ASP World Tour standouts as well as the globe’s hungriest up-and-comers looking to find their way into an eventual ASP World Title race.

Top 17 Tackle Sydney
The 2010 ASP Women’s World Tour has been on rapid-fire this season, with one event after the next since the season opener on the Gold Coast. After wrapping things up in New Zealand last week, the Top 17 will head back to Australia, landing in Sydney this time for the Commonwealth Bank Beachley Classic which runs from April 21 through 26, 2010. As this year’s title race heats up, the girls will be hungry to log in a solid result in front of the massive crowds set to support their favorite ladies at Sydney’s Northern Beaches, so make sure to watch this one LIVE to stay in the loop on this year’s ASP Women’s World Title race.
