The fifth stop on the ASP Women’s World Tour, the Movistar Peru Classic presented by IPD has decided the event’s Quarterfinalists at Lima’s San Bartolo and with three wins out of the four events on the 2010 calendar and an impeccable history in Peru, three-time ASP Women’s World Champion Steph Gilmore is still alive to potentially take out another win amongst the globe’s finest female surfing talent. Asing Takes Arnette Pro Junior
With the race for a qualifying spot at this year’s inaugural ASP World Junior Tour firmly engrained in the finest Pro Junior talent’s brains, the action just got that much hotter for a position on the North American and Hawaiian front after Keanu Asing (HAW), 17, took out the ASP Grade-3 Arnette Pro Junior this weekend. With only one event left for Mainlanders and Hawaiians to find their way amongst this year’s elite, the Arnette Pro Junior’s Grade-3 status weighed heavily on the ratings, so log on to see who is on top!

Freestone and Palmateer Win Chill Pro Junior
While Americans and Hawaiians were doing battle in California, ASP Australasia’s finest were competing at Trigg Point in West Oz for their birth on to the ASP WJT at the ASP Grade-4 Chill Pro Junior. Coolangatta’s Jack Freestone won big in the men’s division, moving to No. 4 on the ratings, while West Oz’s Felicity Palmateer moved to No. 5 on the ratings with her win for the ladies.
