|  Parko Withdraws from Billabong Pro Joel Parkinson (AUS), 29, has officially withdrawn from the Billabong Pro J-Bay after suffering a brutal fin-laceration to his foot while surfing his home break of Snapper Rocks just before shoving off to South Africa. The unfortunate injury sustained by the 2009 ASP World Runner-up will crush Parko's chances of defending his Billabong Pro J-Bay title, but the stylish natural-footer is set to feverishly rehab in time to return to the Billabong Pro Teahupoo slated to take place in late-August.

|  Cori Schumacher Wins Roxy Jam Cori Schumacher (USA), 33, won the 2010 ASP Women’s World Longboard Championships this past week in Biarritz, France at the Roxy Jam over fellow Californian Kaitlin Maguire (USA), 22, to keep the WWLC Title in North America for the fourth consecutive year. The two-time ASP North America Women’s Longboard Champion dominated the event, ousting former Roxy Jam champions Jen Smith (USA), 24, and Joy Monahan (HAW), 23, before clinching this year’s 2010 ASP Women’s World Longboarding Title.
