Wilko Wins in Santa Cruz!
Matt Wilkinson (AUS), 22, current ASP World Tour rookie, has recently been touted by many as the most lethal up-and-coming backhand surfer to stand amongst the elite and Wilko continued to solidify those statements by taking out the ASP PRIME O’Neill Cold Water Classic California at the righthand pointbreak of Steamer Lane to top several of his fellow ASP Dream Tour competitors and heaps of the globe’s finest youngsters. The impressive victory punts Wilkinson to No. 18 on the ASP World Ranking.

Collazo Takes out Portugal
Basque talent Hodei Collazo (EUK), 26, snagged his maiden ASP Star Series victory by winning the ASP 6-Star Quiksilver Pro Portugal over close friend Gony Zubizarreta (ESP), 25, at the event’s main site of Ribeira D’Ilhas in a high-scoring Final. The win pushes Collazo well within the top 100 on the ASP World Ranking and now the European will motor straight into the upcoming Islas Canarias Santa Pro.
