Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach!
The second stop on the hunt for the 2011 men’s and women’s ASP World Titles, the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach presented by Ford, begins its waiting period today and a bombing swell appears to be shaping up for the world’s best to tear into the iconic amphitheatre that is Bells Beach! With Senor Slater leading the pack for his 11th ASP World Title and Miss Gilmore looking to make up ground on the women’s front, the action set to unfold at Bells will surely come to a head.

Dorrington Wins O’Neill CWC Scotland
Aussie standout Brent Dorrington took out his first ASP victory last week when he won the ASP 6-Star O’Neill Cold Water Classic Scotland after a week of amazing righthand barrels at Thurso East to take home the iconic sword trophy, his own lot of land and the title of Lord Brent Dorrington. The impressive victory in the frigid North Atlantic waters moves ‘Dozer’ up to No. 101 on the ASP World Rankings.

Pull a Slob with Dane on SURFER
Dane Reynolds has been sidelined from the Australian leg of the 2011 ASP World Tour due to the lengthy recovery process following the knee surgery he underwent earlier this season to repair his busted wheel. While Reynolds might be couch surfing at the moment, the innovative aerialist took the time to take above-the-lip up and comers to school on how to pull a slob grab and SURFER Magazine posted Dane’s words of wisdom.
