Note from the Editor

It’s hard to believe that summer’s almost over, but there’s still a solid month to get out and have some fun. I’ve been sticking close to home this summer, with trips to Minnesota, Idaho, and now a road trip through Northern California and Oregon to Central Washington. Caught a fish or two, hiked many forest miles, cycled around Yosemite Valley. Check out my fish tale from Wild Horse Creek near Sun Valley. Then read on for news on the Solas Awards and more about 100 Places in Italy Every Woman Should Go.
