Quiksilver Pro France
Stop No. 8 of 11 on the 2011 ASP World Title Race is set to unfold with the waiting period for the Quiksilver Pro France beginning on October 4th! With some swell on the way and rumors that the French banks are prime, the world’s best surfers are sure to put on some amazing performances for the passionate European crowd. With a marathon leg running from France until Hawaii, the Quiksilver Pro France could mark a paramount moment in this year’s ASP World Title Race.

Oakley World Junior
The first of the three ASP World Junior Tour stops is underway at the dream locations of Keramas and Canggu and the 2011 Oakley World Pro Junior hosts the world’s most promising up-and-coming surfers as they launch their campaigns for the prestigious ASP World Junior Tour Title. With past champions including the likes of Joel Parkinson and the late Andy Irons, the ASP World Junior Tour sets an excellent platform for young talent looking to assert themselves amongst the world’s best.

ASP Top 17 Confirmed
With the completion of the ASP 6-Star Billabong Girls Azores Islands Pro, the ASP Top 17 have been confirmed for 2012. Comprised of the Top 10 finishers on the ASP World Tour from 2011, the Top 6 on the Women’s World Ranking and one Wildcard, next year’s women’s elite roster will host four new faces including Hawaiian Malia Manuel, Californians Sage Erickson and Lakey Peterson as well as France’s Justine Dupont.

Hobgood Wins in Azores!
2001 ASP World Champion C.J. Hobgood has made an amazing recovery after failing to requalify for the ASP Top 34 at the midyear rotation, winning the ASP PRIME Billabong Azores Islands Pro over fellow countrymen Nathan Yeomans after a week of pumping waves. The massive victory taken by Hobgood catapults him to No. 29 on the men’s ASP World Ranking, while Yeomans’ effort sits him at at No. 54.

Wilko’s Out 2 Brunch
Matt Wilkinson is one of the most animated surfers on the ASP World Tour. While the talented goofy-footer is constantly bringing a light-hearted approach to competition via rollerblade entrances and money-print wetsuits, Wilko is simultaneously one of the most progressive, explosive and dangerous competitors in the world. Wilkinson has recently launched a new blog named Out 2 Brunch, so all of his fans can follow the life of the Australian surfer.
