Mr. Price Pro Ballito While there has been a little break in between major events as of late, the schedule is about to heat up again and the ASP Prime Mr. Price Pro Ballito will be leading the pack. With a waiting period from July 2 through 8, several ASP WCT surfers will take on the global field of up and comers in search of points towards their ASP World Ranking at one of South Africa’s most premier waves. Last year saw an amazing barrel fest, so tune in to see what unfolds for the 2012 edition of the Mr. Price Pro Ballito.

INTERVIEW: C.J. Hobgood Talks Fiji C.J. Hobgood is always one to watch in heavy lefthand barrels. With standout performances throughout his career at Cloudbreak, Teahupoo and Pipe, fans and critics alike were chomping at the bit to see what Hobgood was capable of at this year’s Volcom Fiji Pro and the Floridian goofy-footer didn’t disappoint on the way to his Semifinals finish. Eastern Surf Magazine (ESM) sat down with C.J. to get his insight into the resurgence of Fiji on the ASP WCT Schedule and Hobgood touches on everything from his heated rounds with Adriano de Souza, to potential future world champs.

Copa Quiksilver El Salvador While several international campaigners will be battling it out at the Mr. Price Pro Ballito, on the other side of the globe the ASP 3-Star Copa Quiksilver El Salvador will be going down at the amazing righthander of Punta Roca.
